Mike is an executive coach and leadership development expert with 37 years of leadership experience working with executives, leaders, and their teams to build and clarify strategy, align people and organizations, and develop leaders through both organic growth and M&A initiatives.
Mike’s leadership experience extends across GE, Swiss Re, CBIZ, and Vine Creek Consulting. He has excelled in global and national roles focusing on succession planning; executive coaching; leadership development; and leadership alignment and effectiveness. He led HR due diligence and integration across M&A deals, with a keen understanding of the leadership challenges. “My job is to help businesses and teams win,” he says.
His approachable, collaborative style enables his ability to build strategy, integrate many moving parts of a solution and get the job done while developing talent along the way to equip leaders to achieve future results.
As an executive coach, Mike brings knowledge and experience to leadership challenges with the intent to enable progress and results. Leaders point to his insight and ability to create accountability toward progress.
Mike earned his M.S., Education from Capella University and his B.S., Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University. He is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified. Mike’s work ethic and integrity are deeply held and consistently demonstrated, rooted in his upbringing on a Kansas farm.
He and his beautiful wife, Tami, met at K-State and have been married for 35 years. They enjoy family time with their son Jacob and his wife, Charlotte; and their son Elijah and his wife, Faith. Mike and Tami serve on the Host Team at their church. Any spare time is spent enjoying extended family, getting his hands dirty in the yard and cheering on the K-State Wildcats.
